How long to stay
Cataract Surgery
Surgery Days:
Wednesdays & Fridays
Day 1- Arrival & Full Evaluation
Complete ophthalmologic exam in the morning, including biometry and lens power calculation (IOL).
Results are ready the same morning.
Day 2- Surgery Day
Surgery is scheduled once we confirm the right lens is available. Procedure is performed Wednesday or Friday. Plan to rest the remainder of the day.
Day 3- Post -Op Check
Morning follow-up visit to verify the result, check intraocular pressure, and receive your home care instructions before heading back.
Pterygium Surgery
Surgery Days:
Everydays
Day 1 — Full Evaluation
Complete eye exam to assess the pterygium size, corneal involvement, and confirm surgical candidacy. Surgery is scheduled based on findings.
Day 2- Surgery Day
Pterygium excision with conjunctival autograft. Performed under topical anesthesia. A bandage contact lens is placed to protect the eye during initial healing.
Day 3- Post -Op Check
Evaluation of the graft and initial healing. You'll receive detailed instructions for eye drops and care to continue at home.
1-Month Post Op Visit
Removal of the bandage contact lens and conjunctival sutures, plus final assessment of the healed graft. This visit can be coordinated around your schedule — a short overnight trip is

Refractive Surgery
Surgery Days:
Thursdays
Day 1 — Evaluation & Topography
Morning visit includes a full refractive exam and corneal topography mapping. Both tests are done the same morning to assess candidacy and plan your treatment.
No contact lenses for at least 3 week prior to this visit.
Day 2 — Surgery Day
LASIK or PRK performed on Thursday. The procedure itself takes only minutes per eye. Plan to rest in a quiet, dark environment for the remainder of the day.
Bring sunglasses.
Day 3 — Post-Op Check
Morning follow-up to evaluate visual recovery, check corneal healing, and provide your post-operative drops and care instructions before your return trip.
